How protection works
Listing is verified
Before any listing goes live, both the host's identity and the property details are reviewed by our trust team.
Renter is verified
When someone applies or books, we verify their BVN/NIN and surface any flags from their rental history.
Payment goes into escrow
Rent and deposits are collected by Flatmates Nigeria and held securely. Released to the host on confirmed move-in day.
Agreement is signed
Both parties sign a digital tenancy agreement. It is enforceable, timestamped, and stored forever - accessible by both sides.
