Let a local expert
manage your listing

The Flatmates co-host marketplace is launching soon. Verified local property managers in Lagos and Abuja will handle viewings, tenants, and maintenance on your behalf - so you keep earning without the day-to-day work.

We'll email you the moment the co-host marketplace opens.

How it will work

Three steps to hands-off hosting

01

Search co-hosts near you

Browse verified co-host profiles filtered by city, neighbourhood, and speciality. Every co-host has been reviewed by at least one Flatmates host.

02

Interview and check references

Message co-hosts directly through the platform. Ask about their experience, availability, and how they handle maintenance or difficult tenants.

03

Agree on scope and fee

Define the tasks, set a monthly fee (typically 8–15% of rent), and formalise the arrangement. Both parties sign a co-host agreement through the platform.

Services included

What your co-host will take care of

Property viewings

Your co-host conducts in-person viewings with prospective tenants so you never need to be on-site.

Tenant screening

They verify documents, check references, and use Flatmates trust scores to shortlist reliable tenants.

Maintenance coordination

Your co-host manages contractors, oversees repairs, and keeps you informed - without you lifting a finger.

Rent collection support

Co-hosts send payment reminders, follow up on late rent, and escalate issues before they become disputes.

Tenant communication

Day-to-day messages, check-in instructions, and house-rule queries are handled by your co-host.

Emergency response

If something goes wrong at the property, your co-host is the first on-the-ground point of contact.

Typical co-host fee: 8–15% of monthly rent

Co-host fees will be agreed directly between you and your co-host. The typical range is 8–15% of the monthly rent depending on scope, property size, and city. More comprehensive management sits toward the higher end. Flatmates Nigeria will not take a cut of co-host fees.
