Bank transfers, card payments (Visa, Mastercard, Verve) and mobile money.
You can pay for any booking via direct bank transfer to a dedicated virtual account generated for each transaction. The account details are displayed on the payment screen and are unique to your booking - do not reuse account numbers from previous transactions.
Transfers are typically confirmed within 5 minutes during banking hours. If your payment is not confirmed within 30 minutes, contact your bank before reaching out to Flatmates support.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, and Verve debit and credit cards issued by Nigerian banks. Cards are processed securely through our payment partners. Your card details are never stored on our servers.
If your card payment fails, check that you have sufficient funds, that your card is enabled for online transactions, and that your bank has not blocked the transaction. Most Nigerian banks require you to enable online/international transactions via their mobile app or by calling your bank.
We also support payments via USSD codes for select banks, and mobile money wallets including OPay, Kuda, and PalmPay. Select your preferred option at the checkout screen.
For the safety of all users, the following payment methods are not accepted on Flatmates Nigeria:
Any host who requests payment outside the Flatmates platform is in violation of our Terms of Service. Please report such requests immediately.
