Trust & Safety Lead

About the role

Own identity verification, fraud detection, and the policies that keep our community safe. You will set the standards for trust on the platform and work across product, engineering, and legal to enforce them.

What you will do

Own the end-to-end identity verification process for hosts and renters

Define and enforce Trust & Safety policies across the platform

Investigate and resolve fraud and dispute cases

Work with engineering to build automated fraud detection

Represent Trust & Safety in product planning to ensure safety is built in by default

Your Expertise

• -

  3+ years in trust, safety, fraud, or compliance roles

• -

  Experience with identity verification systems (BVN, NIN, or equivalent)

• -

  Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• -

  Excellent written communication for policy documentation

• -

  Experience in fintech, proptech, or marketplace businesses is a plus
