Senior Product Designer

About the role

Own end-to-end design for our renter and host experiences. You will shape how millions of Nigerians find and list homes - from search and discovery to booking and move-in confirmation.

This is a founding design role with significant scope. You will work directly with the CEO and founding team, set design standards, and build the system from which all future design decisions grow.

What you will do

Lead design for our core renter and host flows - search, listing creation, booking, and payments

Build and maintain the Flatmates design system in Figma

Conduct user research and translate insights into product improvements

Collaborate closely with engineering to ship polished, performant interfaces

Define and track design quality metrics

Your Expertise

• -

  5+ years of product design experience

• -

  Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end ownership of complex product flows

• -

  Deep proficiency in Figma including component design and prototyping

• -

  Experience designing for mobile-first, data-constrained users

• -

  Understanding of Nigerian or broader African digital user behaviours is a strong advantage
